Description

Delicious chocolate peanut butter nests made with chow mein noodles and topped with chocolate mini eggs.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 10 ounces peanut butter chips
  • 12 ounces chow mein noodles
  • 78 chocolate mini eggs (with candy shell)
  • Optional toppings: sprinkles (coconut, and more!)

Instructions

  1. Line several large baking sheets with wax paper or parchment paper. Set aside for later.
  2. Add chocolate and peanut butter chips to a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave for 20 seconds, then remove and stir; repeat until the chocolate mixture is smooth and fully melted, being careful not to overheat.
  3. Fold in chow mein noodles until completely coated.
  4. Using a ¼ cup ice cream scoop to make things faster, scoop mixture into the prepared baking sheet. Use a spoon to flatten into a thick disc, then create a divot in the center—this is the nest. This mixture makes 26 nests.
  5. Press 3 chocolate mini eggs into the center. Allow to set at room temperature about 10-20 minutes, then enjoy!
