Description
A rich and creamy cream cheese cheesecake that’s perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Prepare a round 9-inch springform pan by lining it with parchment paper, ensuring the paper extends above the rim for easy removal.
- In a large mixing bowl, blend the softened cream cheese and granulated sugar together until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
- Beat in the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition to ensure a well-combined batter.
- Slowly add the heavy cream, continuing to mix until fully incorporated.
- Add the flour, vanilla extract, and salt. Mix until smooth and no clumps remain.
- Pour the cheesecake batter into the prepared springform pan, spreading it evenly.
- Place the pan in the preheated oven and bake for 40-45 minutes. The top should become dark brown and puffy.
- Once done, remove the cheesecake from the oven and let it cool at room temperature for at least an hour. Afterward, chill it in the refrigerator for an additional hour or two before serving.
- Carefully take the cheesecake out of the springform pan. You can simply lift it using the parchment paper overhang.
- Once cooled, slice the cheesecake into wedges for serving.
Notes
- This cheesecake pairs well with fresh fruit or a drizzle of chocolate sauce.
- Make sure the cream cheese is at room temperature for the smoothest batter.
