Description

Delicious seared salmon fillets coated with Cajun seasoning and garnished with fresh parsley.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
  • 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • Fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Prepare ingredients: Thaw salmon if frozen and pat dry with paper towels.
  2. Season salmon: Generously coat both sides of the fillets with Cajun seasoning.
  3. Heat pan: In a non-stick skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat until shimmering.
  4. Sear fillets: Place salmon skin-side down in the hot pan; cook for 4-5 minutes until golden brown.
  5. Add garlic and lemon: Flip the salmon, add minced garlic, and squeeze lemon juice over each fillet. Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until just cooked through.
  6. Garnish and serve: Remove from heat, sprinkle with chopped parsley, and enjoy immediately with your favorite sides.

Notes

  • For best results, ensure the salmon is completely thawed before cooking.
  • You can adjust the amount of Cajun seasoning to your heat preference.
