Ingredients

- 1 can biscuit dough or homemade dough
- 1 to 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 egg for egg wash
- 1 tablespoon water
- 1 tablespoon butter melted
- 2 tablespoons chopped chives
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment.
- Flatten each piece of biscuit dough on a lightly floured surface.
- Add 1–2 tablespoons shredded cheddar to the center of each piece.
- Fold edges inward and pinch tightly to seal then place seam side down.
- Brush tops with egg wash made from whisked egg and water.
- Sprinkle with salt, pepper, and chopped chives.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes until puffed and golden.
- Cool slightly before serving to allow cheese to settle.
