Description

Delicious crispy German potato pancakes made with grated potatoes and onions.


Ingredients

  • 1 small onion
  • 2 large eggs
  • ¼ cup all-purpose flour

  • ¼ cup vegetable oil (for frying)

Instructions

  1. Grate the potatoes and onion – Using a box grater or food processor, grate the peeled potatoes and onion into a large bowl. The mixture will be very moist, which is normal.
  2. Remove excess liquid – Place the grated mixture into a clean kitchen towel and squeeze out as much liquid as possible. This step is essential for achieving crispy German Potato Pancakes instead of soft ones.
