Ingredients

- 1 package instant ramen noodles (exclude seasoning packet)
- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
- 1 clove garlic (minced)
- ¼ teaspoon red chili flakes
- 1 teaspoon brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- ¼ cup reserved pasta water
- 1 large egg (lightly beaten)
- 2 teaspoons everything bagel seasoning
- green onions (thinly sliced, optional)
Instructions
- Boil the ramen noodles in water until just cooked; reserve ¼ cup of pasta water and drain the rest.
- In the same pan, melt butter over low heat.
- Add minced garlic and chili flakes; sauté until fragrant.
- Stir in brown sugar and soy sauce, letting it slightly bubble.
- Add the cooked noodles and reserved pasta water to the pan.
- Pour in the lightly beaten egg and stir quickly to coat the noodles.
- Sprinkle everything bagel seasoning and mix well.
- Garnish with green onions (optional) and serve hot.
